From April 8th, over 2,100 exhibitors from 37 countries will converge, making the Milan International Furniture Fair (Salone del Mobile) a strategic meeting point for supply chains, an essential link to international markets, and a vibrant hub that transforms Milan into the world's design capital. Highlighting six cultural events is "Library of Light," an awe-inspiring art installation by renowned British artist Es Devlin, which will illuminate the Brera Picture Gallery during Euroluce, the year of European lighting.

The 63rd edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, running from April 8th to 13th, spans 169,000 square meters with all stands fully booked, welcoming 2,100 exhibitors including 259 new or returning brands. The growing presence of international participants underscores the event's vitality. Over 140 countries are represented by decision-makers, buyers, designers, and investors converging at Fiera Milano in Rho. This success reflects the fair's commitment to fostering creative processes, strategic perspectives, and production models, while promoting dialogues between design industry leaders and cultural figures for a more extensive, interdisciplinary, and future-oriented vision.

With solidified data and continuous growth, the 63rd Salone del Mobile.Milano reiterates its position as the leading international event in terms of history, professional attendance, overall turnover, and the quality of industrial manufacturing proposals. These proposals, showcased under the spotlight, excel in aesthetics, functionality, technological innovation, material research, and the ability to turn sustainability challenges into competitive advantages.

In 2025, four special projects are part of the cultural program, two in the city and two within the fairgrounds. First up for public viewing is Robert Wilson's "Mother," launching on April 6th in conjunction with Milan Art Week, held at the Pietà Rondanini Museum - Castello Sforzesco. It's a comprehensive art display honoring Michelangelo's masterpiece, considered one of Milan's most iconic works alongside Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper."

The final announced project is Es Devlin's "Library of Light," a powerful performance experience at the Brera Picture Gallery's courtyard, a 'beacon of knowledge' featuring over 2,000 books selected and donated by Feltrinelli, celebrating the value of knowledge.
Two artistic installations will be featured at the exhibition. In Pavilion 22-24, Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino, collaborating with set designer Margherita Palli and Max Casacci's score, pays homage to a universal emotion – waiting – marked by the heartbeat of a mysterious heart. Meanwhile, Pierre-Yves Rochon, the leading figure in luxury hotel interiors, shapes Villa Héritage in Pavilions 13-15,致敬Luchino Visconti's Venice, Gustav Mahler's music, and the genius of creating rooms as independent worlds, where tradition is
