27th Guangzhou Building Decoration Fair Highlights
On July 11th, the 27th China (Guangzhou) International Building Decoration Fair concluded after a four-day event. The fair, covering 300,000 square meters, hosted nearly 2,000 companies and attracted 205,600 professional visitors, with a 47.22% increase in overseas visitors. The fair showcased two major trends: the rise of Chinese aesthetics, with Song-style design becoming a favorite in the high-end market. Brands like Meixin Door and Songyuan Nanshan combined traditional design, bamboo craft, and modern technology to demonstrate the fusion of Eastern aesthetics and practical functions, earning substantial orders in European and African markets. The second trend was the rapid implementation of intelligent construction technology, with "black technology" such as the "cloud construction factory" of China Construction Fourth Bureau, and robotic solutions for reinforcing and vibration, improving construction efficiency by over 35% and driving the intelligent transformation of the construction industry.
On July 7th, 33 construction companies, including China Construction First Bureau, jointly issued an "Anti-Involution" initiative letter. The focus was on avoiding blind expansion and恶性低价 competition, not setting up "shell structures," and adhering to technological innovation and green development, conducting "value competition" based on technology. Vice Minister of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Tan Zuojun, said that transformation and upgrading was the key to resolving the "involution" in the construction industry. Since last year, the central government has repeatedly mentioned the rectification of "involution-style" competition, with the "Seeking Truth" article pointing out its harm and involving emerging industries. Recently, the photovoltaic, cement, and steel industries have quickly carried out reduction production, and similar measures in the steel and cement industries have also shown initial effectiveness, marking the beginning of a new round of industry "anti-involution" and de-capacity actions.

It is reported that the carbon label is a visual identification of the carbon emissions of a product throughout its life cycle, covering the "carbon footprint" assessment of the total carbon emissions from the product's raw material mining, production, transportation, use, and recycling process. Through transparent carbon emission information, it directly reflects the environmental friendliness of the product.
