Recently, the 11th Wanshifu 8·3 Master Festival kicked off its序幕. This year's Master Festival公益行 is themed "Craftsmanship and Benevolence" and is guided by the China National Federation of Furniture and Decoration Industry Chamber of Commerce, exclusively sponsored by Bosch China Electric Tools. Over 4 million masters have actively responded and enthusiastically participated in public welfare activities.
On July 8th, led by Master Sheng, the mutual assistance team visited a rehabilitation center for the disabled and a kindergarten for children with intellectual disabilities. They inspected potential safety hazards in their living environments and carried out voluntary maintenance and renovations.
Due to the strength of the special children, many doors had varying degrees of damage, such as loose hinges, door panels dragging on the floor, and loud noises when opening and closing. Many desks and chairs were wobbly, with broken legs, and ceilings that had not been repaired for years, with some ceilings collapsing and falling off, posing a great threat to the children's safety.
The team from Master Sheng worked together, inspecting each room in the two buildings: tightening screws and adjusting hinges for each door and window; reinforcing broken joints on bookshelves, cabinets, and chairs; and at the same time, repairing faucets, fixing light bulbs, reinstalling ceilings, power switches, and locks, and repairing all damaged items at one time.
When asked why they chose special needs rehabilitation centers and schools as public welfare sites, Master Sheng said that they were deeply touched by their efforts to live on TikTok and wanted to do something for them during the Master Festival public welfare campaign, hoping that "what we do can bring them some convenience and make their living environment better and safer."
