Through digital technology empowerment, Haier's Chongqing laundry factory has completed the energy-saving transformation of its refrigeration room. On September 10th, the factory announced the comparison data for July and August: with the upgrade of the Haier AI Group Control System and the digital supervision platform, the energy consumption of air conditioning in the park has been reduced by 30.3%, saving about 77,000 yuan per month, with an expected payback period of 1.5 years.
This transformation not only realizes cost reduction and efficiency improvement for the Chongqing laundry factory but also verifies the application value of digital technology in the industrial refrigeration field. From the industry's first cloud service platform to the layout of integrated smart control business, Haier Smart Building is accelerating the layout of intelligent technology, actively seeking new incremental spaces.
The transformation project itself has become a key link in the factory's cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
According to actual measurement and evaluation, the system energy efficiency of the factory's refrigeration room was very low. After repeated scheme arguments, the machine room introduced the Haier AI Group Control System, which monitored the operation status of the units, the ambient temperature, and the condensation temperature in real-time, dynamically adjusting operating parameters. At the same time, by optimizing the system control strategy, the equipment was avoided from frequent switching on and off and unnecessary high-load operation, thus improving energy efficiency.
The energy-saving effect after the transformation far exceeded user expectations. In order to verify the effectiveness of AI intelligence control, the factory adopted AI and manual operation modes for comparison in July and August. Data shows that the average daily electricity consumption under the manual mode was 8477 kWh, while the average daily electricity consumption under AI intelligence control was 5912kWh, with the energy efficiency value rising from 3.88 to over 4.5, reaching the leading level in the industry.
